How it works

Questions about borrowing, membership, donating or volunteering? email us, or call 07942 994023 Saturdays 10am -2pm.

1. Find it

Browse the catalogue online, with over 269+ items. From drills to carpet cleaners to camping gear. Find what you need and check that it’s free on your dates.

2. Reserve it

Members can reserve online in a couple of clicks. Pick up on a  Saturday, 12 to 2pm.

3. Collect it

We open at 10am for return drop-offs. Collections for reserved items start at 12pm.
This gives us time to check items back in and get them ready for you.

Membership

Three membership levels keep borrowing affordable for everyone.
Per year, the fees are
Concession £10, Standard £30 and Supporter from £50.

Your membership covers our running costs and keeps the library growing as a CIC.

How to join

  • Go to our Library page and click “Create account” at the top right
  • Sign up online. It takes about 5 minutes.
  • Bring photo ID and proof of address the first time you collect. You only need to do this once.

For every loan a small lending fee applies, you’ll see these prices in the library catalogue.
If you borrow a few things a year, you’ll have covered these fees over buying new many times over.

If you think there’s a ‘thing’ we should have in the Library then please let us know. We also love a ‘thing’ donation so please get in touch if you have something you think might be suitable for our borrowers.
